Columbus North's boys golf team had a mixed result in their match against Brownstown Central on Tuesday. The varsity squad fell 160-170 at Hickory Hills, but the junior varsity team earned a strong 180-212 road win. While the varsity struggled to find enough collective push to overcome Brownstown, the JV group showed promising depth with several competitive scores.

Why it matters

The varsity loss is a reminder of how thin the margin can be at the high school golf level, but the JV win offers an encouraging sign of depth building within the program. Developing that depth is crucial for long-term team success in golf.
