What they’re saying

“We were playing well, and we were doing things we wanted to. In the first half, Miley got a couple fouls, but we were able to weather that storm and Sydni Schiefer came in and gave us rerlly good minutes. So when we got that little run in the third quarter, we felt like we were in a good spot. At the same time, we scouted them, and we knew they were going to pick up their pressure and we just got a little tight after a couple turnovers, tried to second-guess them some of the passes we were going to make, and when you do that against an aggressive team, it just turns into additional turnovers.”

“I think we just got a little sped up. This whole week, we've practiced handling pressure, but I think being in this big gym with a lot of fans, we just got pressured and sped up a little bit, and that was our biggest thing in that two-minute or three-minute segment.”
