A fire seriously damaged a detached garage in Edinburgh, Indiana on Friday. Emergency responders were called to the 1000 block of East Center Cross Street, where they found heavy smoke coming from the garage. The Edinburgh Fire Department was able to put out the fire in about 20 minutes, with assistance from several other local fire departments.
