Each year in February, members of the National FFA Organization celebrate National FFA Week, a time dedicated to recognizing the impact of agricultural education and student leadership across the country. At the Staunton school district, FFA members will be celebrating with a variety of themed dress-up days and activities, culminating in a dinner auction fundraiser on February 28th.
Why it matters
National FFA Week serves as a reminder of the importance of agriculture in American history and daily life, as well as the hard work and dedication of farmers, ranchers, and agricultural professionals. The celebration will conclude with the Staunton FFA Alumni and Friends' annual Dinner Auction, which is an important fundraiser supporting student participation in leadership conferences, competitions, and other agricultural opportunities.
