Springfield Armory has introduced the fourth generation of its XD handgun series, the XD Mod.4 OSP. The new model builds on the proven XD platform with updated features like improved slide serrations, an optics-ready slide, and a flat-faced trigger, all while maintaining an affordable MSRP of $399.

The optics-ready slide accepts popular red-dot sights via adapter plates. The polymer frame has an extended beavertail, undercut triggerguard, and enhanced checkering.
