Tempesta Market, the popular West Loop deli known for its house-cured Italian meats and hearty sandwiches, is set to open a new outpost in Rosemont, Illinois this summer. The new Tempesta location will be part of a small restaurant row the village is assembling near O'Hare Airport, alongside a new Eggsperience Café.
Why it matters
Tempesta's expansion into Rosemont marks the deli's first location outside of Chicago's city limits, signaling the brand's growing popularity and the village's efforts to attract new dining options to the area around O'Hare. The new Tempesta and Eggsperience Café will help fill vacant storefronts and expand the dining options along Higgins Road.
The details
Tempesta Market will take over the former Starbucks space in a single-story commercial building the village of Rosemont purchased last summer. Eggsperience Café will occupy part of the old Ram Restaurant & Brewery space in the same building. Renovations on both businesses are expected to begin soon, with the goal of opening the new Rosemont locations by the end of the summer.
- Rosemont village board recently approved a lease for Eggsperience Café.
- Tempesta and Eggsperience are expected to open by the end of summer 2026.
