The Green Bay softball team lost both of its games on Sunday, falling 6-0 to Valparaiso and 8-3 to DePaul in Rosemont, Illinois. The Phoenix struggled with runners in scoring position and were outhit in both contests.

The details
In the first game against Valparaiso, Green Bay was held scoreless despite getting six hits. The Beacons scored six runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to pull away. In the second game, Green Bay took an early 1-0 lead on a Brooke Schwall home run, but DePaul responded with four runs in the fourth and four more in the fifth and sixth innings to win 8-3.
