The Volunteer and Services Subcommittee of Rockford's local America's 250th Anniversary Committee is organizing a community-wide Earth Day Clean-Up event to honor the country's milestone anniversary. Residents, businesses, and community groups are encouraged to form teams, select a location and timeframe, and pick up free cleanup supplies to help beautify neighborhoods across Rockford and Winnebago County.
