Plainfield High Schools Announce Spring Musical Lineup

Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202 has announced the spring musical productions that will be staged at its four high schools between March 13 and April 12. Plainfield North High School and Plainfield Central High School will present teen-friendly versions of "Hadestown" and "Chicago" respectively, while Plainfield East High School and Plainfield South High School will each perform "Frozen: The Broadway Musical."

Plainfield North High School will stage "Hadestown: Teen Edition," a modern folk-jazz retelling of the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. Plainfield Central High School will present a teen version of the classic musical "Chicago." Plainfield East High School and Plainfield South High School will both perform the Broadway adaptation of the hit animated film "Frozen." Tickets for the shows range from $5 to $10 and can be purchased online or at the door.
