Seventy-six musicians from Plainfield's four high schools will perform in an honor band festival on February 17. Plainfield East High School will host the annual Southwest Prairie Conference Honor Band Festival, which features two bands: one for first-year students and sophomores, and another for juniors and seniors. The two honor bands will work with guest conductors from the University of Illinois and Augusta College during the day before performing in a 7 p.m. festival open to the public.
