Viggiani, fled the scene before police arrived, but was later located with the help of a police drone and arrested without incident.

Police established a perimeter and deployed a drone, which helped them locate Viggiani a short time later near the 7800 block of Bristol Park Drive. Viggiani was positively identified by a witness and taken into custody without incident. Police checked the daycare for any damage or missing property, but found none.
