Meredith R. Nowland, a 97-year-old resident of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away on March 24, 2026 at his Greentree Residential Living Center. Nowland was born in 1928 in Waltonville, Illinois and spent his life as a farmer. He is survived by his three sons, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn and son Dale.
