Starting Sunday night at 7 PM, lane restrictions will go into effect on the I-24 Ohio River Bridge in Metropolis as crews set up the work zone for Phase 2 of the rehabilitation project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction while a temporary concrete barrier is installed, and all traffic will then be shifted onto the westbound lanes to allow construction on the eastbound lanes.
