New Chevrolet Tahoes to replace aging fleet and support command staff

The DeKalb City Council has approved the purchase of two 2026 Chevrolet Tahoes for the DeKalb Fire Department at a cost not to exceed $118,208. One vehicle will replace a 2014 Ford Explorer used for daily responses, while the second will be added to support command staff during emergencies.
