Residents and bands can now apply to participate in the upcoming PorchFest events in Chicago's Lakeview and Roscoe Village communities. The free, family-friendly festivals will feature live music performances on homeowners' porches across the two neighborhoods on separate Sundays in late May and late June.

The Roscoe Village PorchFest on June 28 will take place between Addison Street on the north, Wellington Avenue on the south, Ravenswood Avenue on the east, and Western Avenue on the west. Musicians can perform 45-minute sets with 15 minutes in between to set up, and they will receive 50% of ticket sales. Homeowners volunteer their porches, and the local chamber of commerce coordinates the performances.
