Chicago-based Initium Development, joined by Alderman Timmy Knudsen and project partners, recently celebrated the groundbreaking of 2600 N. Clark, a mixed-use development in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. The five-story building will hold 48 residential units, 10 of which will be affordable, and approximately 3,500 square feet of ground floor retail space, including a new Foxtrot location.

The details

Designed by SEEK Design + Architecture and Pappageorge Haymes Partners, the building will feature a residential lobby on W. Wrightwood Ave and a bike room with 48 spaces. A ground floor parking garage with 10 spaces will be accessed from W. Wrightwood Ave and the alley. General contractor ENC Construction & Development has completed demolition of the former structures and is preparing to begin foundation work.
