Two people have been charged after stealing merchandise from suburban stores and fleeing police in two separate incidents on the same day, according to the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office. Jehyejah Moore, 22, of Woodridge, and Jrlani Williams, 32, of Chicago, face multiple felony charges including retail theft and aggravated fleeing a police officer.

The details
On February 10, around 2:07 p.m., Oak Brook police responded to a report of a retail theft in progress at Nordstrom. Officers located a white Chevrolet Equinox driven by Moore, who allegedly stole several items including SKIMS undergarments and t-shirts. When officers attempted to stop her, Moore allegedly reached speeds of 112 mph before the pursuit was called off. Later that day, around 5:18 p.m., Elmhurst police responded to a Kohl's for another retail theft in progress. Williams had allegedly stolen a Ninja Blender and an electric griddle, and when officers arrived, he fled in a white Jaguar F-Type, leading to a brief pursuit before he abandoned the vehicle.
