The United Center in Chicago has announced a multi-year partnership with local brands Señorita and RHYTHM to offer hemp-derived THC beverages at most concerts and live events starting in early February 2026. This marks the first time a major U.S. sports and entertainment arena will sell THC drinks to guests 21 and older.

Why it matters

The move reflects the growing demand for nonalcoholic alternatives at live events, as consumer preferences continue to evolve. It also highlights the increasing mainstream acceptance and availability of cannabis-infused products, even in highly regulated venues.

The details

The initial lineup of 5-milligram hemp-derived THC drinks will include three cocktail-inspired flavors from Señorita - Lime Jalapeño Margarita, Mango Margarita, and Grapefruit Paloma - as well as a sativa-style beverage with mandarin orange flavor and caffeine from RHYTHM. The beverages will be available at multiple locations throughout the venue, including bars, grab-and-go stations, and a branded mobile bar.

  • The rollout will officially begin in early February 2026.
  • The first two concerts featuring the new THC drinks will be the New Edition Way Tour on Feb. 4 and the Life is a Highway Tour on Feb. 6.
