The East Aurora School District 131 has announced the top 10 winners of its Great Reading Tournament, a fall competition that saw over 7,000 students from 14 elementary and middle schools read a combined 128,443 minutes and 2,367 books. The top reader was Masa from Waldo Middle School, who read 6,718 minutes from 15 books.

A total of 7,170 students from 14 elementary and middle schools in the East Aurora School District 131 participated in the fall edition of the Great Reading Tournament. Collectively, the students read 128,443 minutes, or over 2,141 hours, and completed 2,367 books. Six of the top 10 individual readers also ranked among the top 100 participants nationwide.
