According to Kuna Police, officers were dispatched around 4:02 a.m. on March 28 to a report of a possibly drunk driver traveling erratically southbound on South Meridian Road. A deputy located the vehicle and attempted a traffic stop, but the 15-year-old driver fled, leading police on a pursuit through the Crimson Point subdivision and several other roads. The teen struck an electrical box, a parked vehicle, a curb, and some shrubs before police used a PIT maneuver to stop the vehicle near South Ten Mile Road and West Overland Road. The driver then attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended after crashing into a tree.
