The LC State Women's Tennis team, receiving votes in the national poll, hosted a pair of NCAA Division I opponents in the Tennis Center on Saturday. The Warriors fell to Montana 6-1 before a 7-0 loss to Idaho.

In the match against Montana, senior Naiara Montero earned a hard-fought singles win to highlight the day for LC State. Montero battled through three sets to earn the victory over her DI opponent in No. 4 singles. Gwyn Heim also forced a tiebreaker in a tightly contested No. 3 singles match. Against Idaho, the Vandals made quick work of doubles action to jump out to a 1-0 lead.
