This was Herring's seventh career CCC Player of the Week award, the most by any LC State women's basketball player in a single season. Johnson, an outfielder, hit .615 with two doubles and a home run, driving in 10 runs and scoring five. He had multiple hits and RBIs in each of the four games as the #21 LC State baseball team swept Texas A&M-Texarkana.
