The Golden Hawk speech team at Mid-Prairie High School in Iowa continues its strong performance, with 7 students earning a total of 11 nominations to the upcoming Iowa High School Speech Association Individual Events All-State Festival on March 30th. The team had 13 students compete in 21 different events at the IHSSA Individual Events Speech Contest, earning 19 Division I ratings and 11 all-state nominations.

Caroline Schrader also broke the school record for career all-state nominations, finishing her high school speech career with 11 total nominations, surpassing the previous record of 10 held by Haydon Bailey.
