As many Pella track and field athletes enjoy spring break, a smaller contingent from both the boys' and girls' teams will compete this Friday and Saturday at Central College. This comes after the Pella boys narrowly won the IATC Indoor Championships at Iowa State University last week, while the girls placed 6th in Class 3A.
Why it matters
The Central College meet will be the final indoor competition for Pella before the teams move their seasons outdoors. This is an important tune-up for the athletes who will be participating, as they look to build momentum heading into the outdoor season.
The details
The Pella boys' team will compete on Friday, while the girls' team will take the track on Saturday. This is a smaller contingent from each squad, as a large portion of the rosters are enjoying spring break. The meet at the Kuyper Complex at Central College will be the last indoor event for Pella before they shift their focus to the outdoor season.
- The Pella boys' team will compete on Friday, March 21, 2026.
- The Pella girls' team will compete on Saturday, March 22, 2026.

What’s next
The Pella track and field teams will look to build on their indoor season performances as they shift their focus to the outdoor season after this weekend's meet at Central College.
The takeaway
Despite missing many of their top athletes due to spring break, Pella is still sending a contingent of competitors to the final indoor meet of the season at Central College. This will be an important opportunity for those athletes to get one last tune-up before the outdoor season begins.
