Central College's Hoo-Rah Day Festivities Underway with 1853 Challenge

Central College's annual Hoo-Rah Day celebration is underway with the launch of the 1853 Challenge. The 1853 Challenge, which began last month, runs for 53 days before Hoo-Rah Day and concludes on April 8th. During that time, participants are encouraged to commit to completing 18 hours of service and/or tracking 53 miles by walking, running, biking or swimming.

Participants in the 1853 Challenge can register online and print a log sheet to track their service hours and miles. Completed challenge sheets must be submitted to the Central Advancement Office by April 9th to be entered into a prize drawing. Individuals who complete both the service and wellness portions of the challenge will be eligible for a larger prize.
