Pella High School's Large Group speech team received two Iowa High School Speech Association All-State nominations in 2026, including for their One Act Play "Cotton Girls" and their Group Improv Team "Williams/Buckingham". While the nominations were non-performing, the team will still participate in the 2026 All-State Speech Festival at Iowa State University on February 21st.
