Eight organizations across southeast Iowa have received Paint Iowa Beautiful grants from the nonprofit Keep Iowa Beautiful. The grants provide free paint from Diamond Vogel to help communities improve the appearance of historic buildings, schools, parks, and other public facilities.

Why it matters

The Paint Iowa Beautiful program aims to enhance the visual appeal and community pride in towns across the state, especially in areas with limited resources for facility upkeep and beautification projects. The grants come as Diamond Vogel celebrates its 100th anniversary, underscoring the company's longstanding commitment to supporting local communities.

The details

The paint provided through the program can be used for a variety of community improvement initiatives.
