Norwalk and PCM Girls Basketball Stars Earn All-State Honors

Three area athletes recognized by IPSWA and IBCA for standout seasons

Three local high school girls basketball players have been named to the all-state teams by the Iowa Print Sports Writers' Association and Iowa Basketball Coaches' Association. Norwalk's Braylyn Birmingham and Pearl Brown, and PCM's Tori Lindsay were all honored for their impressive performances this past season.

PCM's Tori Lindsay was named Class 3A second-team all-state, capping a four-year varsity career that included over 1,000 career points and a school record for three-pointers made. Norwalk's Pearl Brown earned Class 4A third-team all-state recognition for her defensive prowess, which helped the Warriors to another strong season.

Pearl Brown

A senior at Norwalk High School, Brown was recognized as a Class 4A third-team all-state selection for her defensive prowess. She was a key contributor to the Warriors' strong season, averaging nearly 8 points, 5 rebounds and over 1 block per game.
