The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union (IGHSAU) announced that Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa will host the inaugural Iowa Girls State Dual Team Wrestling Tournament starting in January 2027. The venue has previously hosted other IGHSAU championship events as well as national wrestling competitions.

In addition, Xtream Arena is set to host the NCAA Women's Wrestling Championships and the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Basketball Tournament this March.
