A local transient has been arrested as part of an Iowa City porch pirating investigation. 61-year-old Randolph McClaine was taken into custody just before 11:00 Thursday night at the WET shelter on Southgate Avenue. He was allegedly found in possession of a glass pipe which he reportedly said he used to smoke methamphetamine.
