What they’re saying

“They have a new coach and they have different players and stuff like that. So I'm just anxious to see what they have. A lot of times the past couple years they've had the same set players taking the field. So it was a lot of focus on what that other team has and how we play on them. But this year I feel a little different. That's kind of weird, but we're focusing on how we can become a team.”

What’s next

The boys soccer team will look to earn their first win in the Bound era series against Humboldt.

The takeaway

This busy Thursday of Bulldog sports action features teams looking to build momentum, whether it's the golf team starting its season, the track teams returning to outdoor competition, or the boys soccer team aiming to build on a recent high-scoring victory.
