AC/GC High School Hires William Shull as New Head Football Coach

Shull to take over Chargers program, bringing teaching and coaching experience

The AC/GC school district has announced the appointment of William Shull as the new Physical Education Teacher, Strength and Conditioning Coach, and Head Football Coach for AC/GC High School and Guthrie Center Elementary. Shull currently serves as a PE teacher at Adair-Casey Elementary and AC/GC Junior High, and is the Head Girls Golf Coach at AC/GC High School. He will replace former Head Coach Cody Matthewson.

Shull brings three years of teaching experience, including the past two years at AC/GC Junior High. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Health from Iowa State University and holds a Master's degree in Sports Management from Northwest Missouri State University. Shull will continue in his role as Head Girls Golf Coach in addition to taking over the football program.
