The City of Dubuque is planning to resurface around 10 miles of streets across more than 60 city streets and sections in 2026 through its Asphalt Overlay Program. The work, funded through the Iowa Road Use Tax Fund, will involve milling down old pavement, recycling the asphalt, and repaving the streets. The city will also bring curb ramps up to ADA compliance during the process.
