The Central College basketball teams swept Simpson College in an American Rivers Conference doubleheader on Wednesday night. The Dutch women's team edged the Storm 62-60 in the final seconds, while the Central men's team secured a 69-57 victory with a strong defensive performance.

In the women's game, the score was tied 60-60 with 7.5 seconds left when Central's Emily Naughton hit a turnaround jumper with 0.1 seconds remaining to give the Dutch the victory. Naughton led Central with 12 points, while CeCe Moore and Bailey Reding also reached double figures. For Simpson, Taylor Hansen and Maddax DeVault each scored 15 points.
