The 2026 Iowa High School Athletic Association Traditional State Wrestling Tournament was held at the Casey's Center in Des Moines from February 18th to 21st. Several local teams and athletes had strong showings, with wrestlers from Washington, Lone Tree, Columbus/Winfield-Mt. Union, WACO, and Sigourney-Keota all earning spots on the podium.

In Class 2A, the Washington Demons had several wrestlers advance to the finals, including Caden Greiner at 138lbs, Jace Kinzenbaw at 157lbs, Blaine Rees at 190lbs, Brayden Vermillion at 215lbs, and Rudy Wolfe at 285lbs. In Class 1A, the Lone Tree Lions had Tate Nelson compete at 285lbs, while the Columbus/Winfield-Mt. Union Wildcats saw Justin Knipfer, Dakota Aney, Bowen Thomson, and Trevor Phillips all earn state tournament berths. The WACO Warriors also had a strong showing, with Ian Maize, Rydge Sterna, Teage Pepper, and Harley Larrimore all reaching the state tournament. Sigourney-Keota was represented by Ryker VanDenHeuvel, Dillon Menke, and Owen Menke.
