The details

On April 6, a collision occurred in the Dallas County Fairgrounds campground when David Keasey of Dallas Center was hauling a camper and collided with a trailer owned by Timothy James of Perry. No injuries were reported, but Keasey's trailer sustained an estimated $200 in damage while James' trailer had around $1,500 in damage. The following day, on April 7, Logan Werner of Dallas Center was driving westbound on 240th Street near W Avenue when his vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Kiley Laird of Pocahontas. Laird was transported by Dallas County EMS, and Werner's vehicle had an estimated $15,000 in damage while Laird's vehicle had around $20,000 in damage. Laird was cited for failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way. Also on April 7, Rachel Rivera, 23, of 402 Warford St. in Perry was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
