Matt DeLisi, a Distinguished Professor at Iowa State University, has been named a new Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) for his distinguished contributions to the field of criminology and criminal justice, particularly his work on the multifactorial underpinnings of antisocial conduct and pathological criminal behavior.

His 2023 book "Ted Bundy and the Unsolved Murder Epidemic" argues that Bundy's criminal career was far more extensive than his convictions, and offers ideas to help clear the backlog of unsolved homicide cases.
