Marriott International has signed an agreement with Kemmons Wilson Hospitality Partners to bring The Resort at Kapalua Bay, a luxury oceanfront resort on Maui's northwest coast, into Marriott's leading luxury portfolio. The property will undergo a renovation and is slated to join the iconic St. Regis Hotels & Resorts brand in 2027.

The details
Set on 25 acres of oceanfront property within the Kapalua Resort community, The Resort at Kapalua Bay features 146 expansive, multi-bedroom, ocean-view residences. Marriott has assumed management of the hotel's operations and will oversee a renovation before the property joins the St. Regis portfolio in 2027. Guests will continue to enjoy the resort's amenities, including championship golf courses, a 40,000 sq. ft. spa, and direct access to Kapalua Bay Beach.
