Delta Expands Hawaii Flights from Boston and Minneapolis

Delta Air Lines is adding two new nonstop routes to Hawaii - from Boston to Honolulu and from Minneapolis-St. Paul to Maui. The airline is also increasing frequency on several existing Hawaii routes across its network, providing travelers with more convenient options and a more comfortable travel experience.

Why it matters

The return of the Boston-Honolulu route and the new Minneapolis-Maui service fill a void left when other airlines suspended their Hawaii flights from those cities. Delta's expanded Hawaii network gives East Coast and Midwest travelers more flexibility in planning their tropical getaways.

The details

The Boston-Honolulu route will operate daily during peak holiday travel and four times weekly throughout the winter season, serviced by Airbus A330-300 aircraft. The new Minneapolis-Maui route will also use the A330-300 and run daily during peak periods and five times weekly during the core winter season. Beyond these new routes, Delta is boosting frequency on several existing Hawaii routes from its hubs in Atlanta, Detroit, New York, Los Angeles, and Salt Lake City.
