Five Tift Regional Medical Center team members recently completed the LifeLink of Georgia Donor Resource Training Program, a specialized training designed to strengthen hospital-based knowledge and support related to organ and tissue donation. The program equips hospital staff with a deeper understanding of the donation process so they can serve as onsite resources during potential donor cases.
Why it matters
Organ and tissue donation is a critical part of the healthcare system, but it requires specialized knowledge and coordination. By training key staff members in donation protocols and procedures, TRMC is strengthening its ability to handle these sensitive cases with excellence, compassion, and compliance.
The details
