Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC) has announced the advancement of its latest cohort of fire medic students in the Street to Station Program, which aims to train individuals in both fire rescue and emergency medical services. The newly certified firefighters were honored at a pinning ceremony, marking the successful completion of approximately 320 hours of comprehensive training.

The details
The eight individuals who completed the program include Brett Gilliard, Satchel Goodrich, Joshua King, Thomas Maher, Montana Manley, J.T. Moody, Sean Siddell, and Clayton Taylor. They have completed training in areas such as classroom instruction, skills development, live fire training, hazardous materials awareness and operations, Incident Command System protocols, and CPR certification.
