The incident happened after a resident had just returned home from walking their dog, when an unknown man entered the home, threatened the resident at gunpoint, and stole several items including the victim's phone before fleeing the scene.

The details

According to the sheriff's office, the unknown man entered the home within the 3800 block of Riverside Drive after the resident had returned from walking their dog. The suspect threatened the resident at gunpoint and stole several items, including the victim's phone, before fleeing the scene. The resident was not injured. After an investigation, police located and arrested 22-year-old Ricardo Martin near the intersection of Riverside Drive and Northside Drive. The stolen items were recovered and returned to the victim, and Martin was charged with burglary, aggravated assault, terroristic threats, and false imprisonment.
