Eloise T. Porter-Taylor, a 92-year-old resident of Douglas, Georgia, passed away peacefully at Lakeside Senior Living in Douglas. She was the daughter of the late Carlie Lee Tanner and Beatrice Johnson Tanner and is survived by five daughters, 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Eloise Porter-Taylor was preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald T. Porter, and her second husband, Ashley Taylor, as well as her son, Gerald Timothy Porter. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM at the Sims Funeral Home chapel, with Rev. Paul Womack officiating. Interment will follow at the City of Douglas Cemetery.
