StandardAero Expands Gulfstream Service at Augusta Facility

Leading MRO provider inducts first Gulfstream jets at newly upgraded regional service center.

Published on Feb. 26, 2026

StandardAero, a leading independent aerospace engine aftermarket services provider, has inducted its first two Gulfstream aircraft for service at the company's newly expanded facility in Augusta, Georgia. The development includes a new 80,500-square-foot facility with a dedicated aircraft maintenance hangar and expanded engine shop to support growing demand for Honeywell HTF7000 engine maintenance.

Why it matters

The induction of the first Gulfstream aircraft at StandardAero's Augusta facility marks a key milestone in the company's strategic expansion of its business aviation MRO capabilities. The upgraded facility allows StandardAero to better serve Gulfstream operators across the southeastern U.S. and reinforces the company's growing footprint in the business aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) sector.

The details

The initial Gulfstream service events involve two Gulfstream GIV-SP aircraft. One aircraft is undergoing scheduled inspections and due-list maintenance, while the second is receiving a comprehensive airframe inspection along with installation of Starlink connectivity. To support the growing Gulfstream workload, StandardAero has established a dedicated specialty maintenance team in Augusta and is actively scheduling service events for the Gulfstream G450, Gulfstream GV, and Gulfstream G550 through 2026 and beyond, with additional model support planned.
