The Atlanta Preservation Center is hosting a guided walking tour of historic downtown Atlanta on March 20, 2026, showcasing the city's iconic skyscrapers, landmark structures, and architectural styles from the Victorian era to Art Deco to contemporary. The 2-hour tour will explore how Atlanta's early business district developed through the efforts of prominent businessmen, architects, and families in the 19th and 20th centuries.

The tour will meet at the intersection of 133 Peachtree Street NE and John Wesley Dobbs Avenue NE, in front of the Georgia-Pacific Plaza, across the street from the historic Candler Building. Participants will tour the interiors and exteriors of several of Atlanta's landmark structures. The tour has a capacity of 20 people, and those interested who can't get a spot are encouraged to sign up for the waitlist.
