The Atlanta Gladiators have signed forward Nick McCarry, who spent the last four seasons playing for Carleton University in Canada. McCarry led the Ravens in scoring this season with 16 goals and 14 assists in 28 games. He arrived in Atlanta on Tuesday night and had his first practice with the team on Wednesday.
Why it matters
The Gladiators are currently fourth overall in the league at 31-12, but have lost their last three games. The addition of McCarry, who was named to the USports Second All-Star team in 2024-25 and the USports All-Rookie Team in his freshman season, is expected to provide an offensive boost to help the team get back on track and compete for a championship.
The details
McCarry said he's 'excited for the opportunity' and is looking forward to helping the team win. Head coach Matt Ginn believes McCarry 'brings some offensive punch' and 'plays with good energy and competes' on both sides of the puck.
