Lumiere Lounge in Atlanta is launching a new interactive Jazz Talk series in partnership with the Jazz At The Strand program, featuring KSU Professor Trey Wright. The first event on February 12, 2026 will focus on the making of Miles Davis' iconic album "Kind of Blue", followed by talks on Cole Porter, the Dave Brubeck Quartet, and a duo performance by Wright and saxophonist Mace Hibbard.

The remaining talks will cover the genius of Cole Porter on March 12, the legacy of the Dave Brubeck Quartet on April 9, and a duo performance by Trey Wright and saxophonist Mace Hibbard on May 14. Each event will include a drink ticket for attendees, with doors opening at 7pm and the presentations starting at 7:30pm. Seating is limited to 30 guests, and the events are open to those 21 and older.
