CrediaBank Appoints Athanasios Stathas as Acting Chief Financial Markets Officer

CrediaBank has announced the appointment of Athanasios Stathas as the Acting Chief Financial Markets Officer, effective February 1, 2026. Stathas will report directly to the CEO and join the bank's Executive Committee. The bank also expressed its appreciation for the contributions of the outgoing Chief Financial Markets Officer, Marinos Danalatos, who will continue to serve as a Senior Management Advisor.

Athanasios Stathas has 29 years of experience in the banking sector, with a strong focus on Treasury Management and Financial Markets. He joined Attica Bank in 2001 and, following the merger with Pancreta Bank and the establishment of CrediaBank, assumed the role of Deputy Chief Financial Markets Officer. Earlier in his career, he worked at Egnatia Bank in the Treasury function. Throughout his career, Stathas has held senior roles across Treasury, Trading and Asset-Liability Management (ALM), Treasury Sales, Funding and Capital Markets activities.
