Two men, Kobi Issiah Torrealba Ruiz and Christian Micheal Chirino, were arrested after allegedly forcing their way into a Tamarac residence, attacking the occupant, and then fleeing the scene. During the altercation, the victim stabbed Chirino in what authorities described as self-defense.

Deputies later located the vehicle and detained the two men, with Chirino observed to have a stab wound consistent with the victim's account.
