The No. 10 Florida State Seminoles softball team run-ruled Notre Dame 10-0 on Friday to extend their nation-leading win streak to 23 games and remain undefeated in ACC play at 11-0. The Seminoles held the Irish to just one hit and got a strong offensive performance, including home runs from Isa Torres and Kennedy Harp.

The details

Florida State broke through in the bottom of the second inning when Ashtyn Danley doubled and scored on a triple by Hayley Griggs. The Seminoles then added two more runs in the inning to take a 3-0 lead. In the third, Kennedy Harp hit a two-run homer to make it 5-0, and Florida State tacked on five more runs in the inning to blow the game open. The Seminoles added two more runs in the fourth to reach the 10-0 final score and secure the run-rule victory.
